The “other” office

Looks like I will be heading to our other office (the headquarters, in fact) for the next couple of days. I don’t like going there because it’s a lot further away compared to the office I usually work out of – almost a 2 hour commute (one way), double what I’m used to.
Hopefully this won’t extend beyond this week. It’s supposed to, but I’m hoping maybe I can opt out from doing this on Monday (and maybe afterwards if it continues longer). On the bright side, it’s a nice change of scenery, new town, new people…

Don’t hide your obvious disappointment. Everyone knows you’re suffering. I know I would be suffering if I had to wait longer for myself to come home at nights. (Who wouldn’t?)

I’m not suffering. Am I sad? A little. I miss you, that goes without saying, which is why I didn’t say it. But, I am happy you seemed so… upbeat.

It wasn’t obvious. If you want things to be obvious, write it blunt, not all hidden and dripping with meaning…

Way to look on the bright side, Boy! San Jose is a happening town with happening things happening… And, you can get much work done whilst on the train to San Jose. This is wonderful news!
