Because last night Girl schooled me in some Guitar Hero III. It was pretty sad. At first I was sitting there, playing a few songs, having some fun, and trying my hardest to get Girl to try and play. She wouldn’t budge. “No, I’ll mess up your score,” she said. Or, “No, I’m not any good.” FINE! I’ll just sit there and show her how great of a time it can be and then she’ll want to play, I thought.

Sure enough, she eventually caved when she thought she could play and not disrupt my “score” (if you want to call it that, though I am pathetic). And wouldn’t you know it, she put me to shame. This Girl can play and play she did. You should have seen her spank Slash in a one on one battle. That’s right, SLASH!! Come on! I couldn’t even beat some redneck gas station attendant (who was actually Tom Morello) without trying twice.

The important thing was that we had a good time… and that I need to freshen up on my GH III skills. It’s on!
