About three blocks from where I work there is a quaint little shopping mall. Each and every Thursday, this quaint little mall gets transformed into a market. Organic produce, jams, fresh-baked bread, and all types of flowers line the crammed walkways. People rush back and forth, trying different food and throwing money in exchange for this or that bunch of flowers. All of this is encompassed in the sounds of the accordion, as played by a strange man with strange taste in music.
It is my favorite lunch day. I have no phone calls to make, so I can just relax and swirl around in the madness that is the marketplace. I usually taste some fruit and today, Persimmons were the big thing and I did my best to like them. Unfortunately, I still prefer strawberries, cranberries, and apples – no worries, as I was able to taste those as well. This is all finished with a German Pretzel Roll. And today, I felt inspired (maybe by the strange accordion) to bring Jason back a pretzel roll as well. He was surprised, but he ate it happily enough.
