Girl vs. Boy

TV Quality

A while back I purchased a new TV. I was a little gloomy one day and needed a big purchase to make myself feel better. I hadn’t gotten myself anything new in a while and was in need of a new TV so that’s where I went. The new television was (and still is) a standard high definition (720) wide screen model measuring in at 32 inches. Its nothing massive, but I didn’t want to pay too much and it was meant for the bedroom.

Up until recently, I have never been super impressed with the quality of this “HD” TV – even though I had been watching a lot of standard definition movies and playing standard definition video games. Even after getting the new PlayStation, the quality wasn’t so hot.

But then, with the PlayStation, I realized that I was still playing games in standard definition. I needed to upgrade and for this I needed to make sure I had the proper setup, i.e. using the right cables.

Once I did that, the improved quality was finally apparent – the television had been justified! And what better way to appreciate the new quality than to play some rockin PlayStation games! Thanks to Girl, this meant playing Super Rub a Dub (finally a PlayStation game she doesn’t hate!). Yes, folks, this is high definition at it’s finest.
