Girl vs. Boy

Why I can’t post comments on Digg.com

Posted by: orboy on: February 13, 2008

For those of you that don’t know, Digg.com is a popular news aggregation web site. Basically, people log in and post popular news stories “digging” them.  The more people that digg a story, the more popular it is.  Then, people can easily view the most popular stories in the news by seeing which news stories have been dugg the most.  Once a story has been posted, other users can then comment on that story to express an opinion or rant on about something completely unrelated – you name it.

Myself, I cannot get a Digg account for news posts or comments (which is the only thing I’d be interested in) because some other dirt bag already created an account under my username (a different one other than orBoy).  This particular username I have reserved at all the major sites and chat clients such as Yahoo!, MSN/Hotmail, etc., and even own the .com domain name.  What makes him think that he can swoop in on Digg and steal that away from me!?!

The only logical solution now is to not use Digg and just hope this particular individual is not scum enough to make me look bad. :P

I think you should set up a digg account…just add 2 next to your name…and then call out the one who stole your name on a post. =)

he should add “thereal” in front of his name… that would be funny…
